Details

Congregation Beth Yeshua (CBY) of Philadelphia is a part of a spontaneous growing worldwide movement known as Messianic Judaism. Messianic Jews believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Jewish Messiah whose death fulfills Hebrew scripture in providing a permanent kipporah (atonement) for sin. When you visit Beth Yeshua you will experience a community of like-minded Jews and Gentiles alike who can worship the G-d of Israel in a Jewish environment, celebrating the Jewish holidays and festivals in a meaningful way and raising their children in a Messianic Jewish lifestyle.

A typical service at Beth Yeshua includes many Jewish diverse forms of worship to Adonai (G-d), expressing our love with all our heart, soul, and strength. They include traditional Jewish liturgy, a worship band who lead songs in Hebrew and English as well as what we call “Davidic Worship” which is a form of Israeli folk dance in a circle, like the hora.
