Kehilat Sar Shalom

Kehilat Sar Shalom, generally referred to as "KSS" or "Sar Shalom," is a Messianic Jewish community dedicated to teaching and living out the Jewish foundations of our faith in the Messiah Yeshua.

Kehilat Sar Shalom was founded during the Feast of Sukkot in the fall of 1993, as roughly 20 Jewish and non-Jewish participants gathered together to celebrate the Festival. Since then, Sar Shalom has been active in establishing other communities around the Twin Cities, and has grown into what is now the largest Messianic Jewish Congregation in the Upper Midwest.

KSS is a family-centered community, encouraging growth and embracing all families, young and old. At Sar Shalom, we celebrate a rich diversity and seek to provide a place of fellowship and an atmosphere of spiritual growth for believers of every ethnicity. We strive to identify with our Jewish heritage through the celebration of God's Word, its Feasts and instructions.

Among our highest priorities at KSS is the teaching and studying of God's Word. In addition to the Shabbat sermons and commentaries, we directly and indirectly sponsor several ongoing large and small group Bible Studies within the community at homes and in other congregations.
