Tree of Life Messianic Congregation
California 2705 Via Orange Way, Spring Valley, CA 91978Details
Basically, Messianic Judaism is a biblically-based movement of Jewish people who have come to believe in Yeshua as the promised Jewish Messiah of Israel. Yeshua is the Hebrew name for Jesus, which means Salvation.
Today, there are tens of thousands of Messianic Jews in the United States alone. Some have estimated the number to be as high as 150,000. Messianic congregations and synagogues are springing up in almost every major city across the country, including San Diego, where we are located. Other nations such as Israel, Canada, England, France and Argentina are experiencing a growing movement of Messianic Jews, as well.
As a Messianic Jewish congregation, we celebrate Messiah and the Judaism He represented, where the principles of Torah are observed from the heart and not merely from the head.
Since we believe this is a Jewish faith for the entire world, we welcome everyone (Jew and Gentile) who seek to better understand Messiah, and to connect with the Jewish roots of their faith. Yeshua (Jesus) said, "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all people."
At Tree of Life, we are a congregation with no second-class citizens. We are all one in the olive tree!
